Greetings and congratulations to the Yurtyzstani people. We stand in unity with you and your decision to ratify the 2nd Constitution of the Democratic People's Republic of Yurtyzstan.
In response to questions regarding the date of elections: Elections will be held May 1, 2013 through an online service which will be determined as soon as possible. We have decided not to hold snap elections in order to allow the Yurtyzstani people enough time to engage in a sophisticated and comprehensive dialogue about the future of the nation. Holding elections immediately after the referendum would leave too little time for campaigning and decision-making, resulting in hasty voting and possibly social unrest.
We apologise for this delay, and understand the necessity of holding elections as soon as possible. We reiterate our promise to relinquish control to the people's elected government as soon as the results of the election have been finalised.
Long live Yurtyzstan!

Provisional Government: No early elections
The Provisional Government has released a statement announcing that elections will be held on the constitutionally defined date rather than at an earlier time, more than one month after Yurtyzstanis approved the 2nd Constitution in a referendum.
